Objective

Move all cards to the eight foundations.

The game

Stock

It is located in the upper left corner;
Click to turn a card over in the waste. After running out of cards, waste cards will not be returned to the stock.

Waste

The waste is located next to the stock;
Only the top card can be used.

Foundations

There are 8 foundations (top right);
Build up in suit from Ace to King.
You can use the top card.

Tableau

There are 10 piles in total;
Cards must be sorted in descending order and the same suit;
Cards in descending order and with the same suit can be moved;
Empty spaces can be occupied by any valid card or group of cards.

Tips

Before making a move, analyze which cards are present in the piles involved. Depending on the move, it may be better to move another group of cards;
As there are no restrictions on the use of empty piles, use them both to release cards from other piles and to decrease the cards present in the discard;
Check carefully if it is possible to use the top card from the discard. As there is no redistribution (discard cards do not go back to the stock), it may be that some cards get "stuck" in the discard.

About Josephine Solitaire

The Josephine Solitaire was created from the Forty Thieves Solitaire. The difference between this game and the original is that you can move more than one card at a time in the piles, if they are of the same suit and are in descending order. This opens up a whole new range of moves and, consequently, makes the game a little easier.
