Objective

The objective is to move all the cards to the foundations.

The game

Foundations

The game has 4 foundations (right side);
Accept cards in ascending order (from Ace to King) and with the same suit;
You can use the top card.

Tableau

There are 7 piles;
The cards must be arranged in descending order and with alternating colors;
You can place any card or set of cards in order on an empty pile.

Stock

It is located in the lower left corner;
Click to turn three cards over in the waste;
Once the stock runs out of cards, it becomes unusable.

Waste

It is located to the right of the stock;
You can use only the top card.

Tips

Removing cards from waste to release Aces is almost always a good move;
A good strategy is to move a waste card to an empty pile only if it is useful to keep the number of empty piles equal;
Before moving a card from waste to an empty pile, check if it will be useful immediately or if it will release a card that will be useful later;
In the beginning, avoid occupying too many stacks with high cards. High cards have less "mobility", as they are the last to go to the foundations and depend on other higher cards to be moved;
If needed, take back a card from one of the foundations to unlock the waste.

About Gold Mine Solitaire

Probably the origin of the name of this game is related to the name Klondike. Because Klondike is a region of Canada where a "Gold Rush" took place and Gold Mine Solitaire is a variation of Klondike.

In this game, unlike the original variation, there is no distribution of cards to create piles with face up and face down cards. And that constitutes its main feature: all piles start empty and all cards are dealt to the stock.

Since all cards start in the stock and consequently are tapped in the waste, it is necessary to choose wisely when and how to use each of the waste cards to form the game piles.
